Why Tennis?
Tennis teaches patience, discipline, wellness, success in life, and provides a sport they will enjoy from their youth through their retirement years.
LCFCC provides several Junior Tennis options for families. Please note the differences between the After School and Saturday programs below.
We’re serious about golf, but our junior golfers have serious fun. From Birdies (ages 4-7) to PGA Junior League, LCFCC’s comprehensive programs cover everything from the fundamentals of the golf swing to putting, chipping, and golf course etiquette.

The After School Junior Tennis Program
Discipline, Determination, Love of the Game
Designed for students who want to develop their game from beginner through varsity competition. Our program maximizes progress with quality instruction — one of the many benefits of a private club.
We ask for a minimum 4-week enrollment to allow proper skill development. The program is taught by LCFCC’s Tennis Director, James Panagopoulos.
LCFCC Saturday Junior Tennis Clinics
The Saturday Alternative
Saturday tennis is for the student who wants to get into the game for the love and fun of the sport. The clinics are drop-in (week to week), making a long-term commitment unnecessary.
A positive environment for your children to learn the basics and progress at their own pace. Taught by Stan Carter, Director of USTA Jr. Team Tennis.

USTA Local Competitions
Playing tennis is always more fun with friends, so USTA Junior Team Tennis connects children by having them play on teams in local leagues. This is a fun way to learn and play the game.
Team-based play builds camaraderie, encourages friendly competition, and helps young players develop their skills in a supportive environment.

My son started golf here at 4 and still plays today. The time we’ve spent learning and playing together at LCFCC means everything to me.
